Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be greeted by a representative from Benson Safari who will assist you with your transfer to your hotel in Arusha. After settling in, you’ll have the rest of the day to relax and acclimatize to the local atmosphere. Enjoy a welcome dinner and prepare for the adventure that lies ahead, as your guide provides an overview of the safari itinerary and what to expect during your journey.
After an early breakfast, depart for Lake Ndutu, located in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This region is a prime viewing spot for the Great Migration. The drive will take you through the picturesque landscapes of Tanzania, with opportunities to spot wildlife along the way. Arriving at Lake Ndutu in the afternoon, you'll enjoy a packed lunch and embark on an afternoon game drive, where you may witness the migration of wildebeest and zebras across the plains. Return to your campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.
Spend a full day exploring Lake Ndutu and the surrounding areas. With your knowledgeable guide, venture out on morning and afternoon game drives, allowing you to follow the herds and observe their behaviors up close. Enjoy another full day of exploration in the Serengeti, where you’ll embark on morning and afternoon game drives. Your guide will lead you to the best spots to witness the migration, as well as provide insight into the rich ecosystems of the park. Take time to enjoy a packed lunch in the bush, surrounded by the breathtaking scenery. The chance to see dramatic predator-prey interactions adds excitement to the day. Return to your campsite for a warm meal and share stories around the campfire.
After breakfast, begin your journey to the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the most spectacular natural wonders of the world. Upon arrival, descend into the crater for a full-day game drive. This area is home to a diverse array of wildlife, including elephants, rhinos, and lions. Enjoy a picnic lunch while taking in the stunning scenery. After a full day of exploration, ascend back to the crater rim and camp overnight at a designated site, enjoying dinner and relaxation under the stars.
On your final day, enjoy breakfast before starting your return trip to Arusha. You may have time for one last game drive in the Ngorongoro area before departing. Arrive in Arusha in the afternoon, where you can shop for souvenirs or enjoy lunch in town. Depending on your flight schedule, you may be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure, concluding your unforgettable 7-day safari adventure filled with incredible wildlife experiences and stunning landscapes.
